Honoring PA Excellence: OAPA Awards and Scholarships DEADLINE EXTENDED
One of the most rewarding activities for a membership community like OAPA is celebrating past and future member achievements by granting awards and scholarships. Awards recognize those who have made a significant positive impact on the PA profession, while scholarships support Ohio PA students as they pursue their education.

The deadline for award nominations and scholarship applications has been EXTENDED to August 8, 2024.
AWARDS
Charles L. Hudson, MD Award - bestowed upon an individual who has demonstrated exemplary service to the PA profession and the community and has furthered the image of PAs
Jerry A. Greco, PA-C Memorial PA Educator of the Year Award - given to a person who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to PA education in the state of Ohio
John Trimbath Award for Exceptional Preceptorship - awarded to a person who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to precepting PA students in the State of Ohio
SCHOLARSHIPS
Past Presidents Leadership Scholarship - given by the Past Presidents Council to a candidate that possesses the characteristics of what the Council envisions in a future PA leader.
Diversity Scholarship - celebrates the diverse qualities of medical providers and the individuals they care for as OAPA strives to promote a culture of inclusiveness in healthcare.
General Scholarships - given annually to candidates that possess the characteristics of what the committee envisions in a future leader within the profession.
